When we first launched Iterro (initially called "The trū Shrimp Companies"), we knew we had a big idea that could transform how the world thinks a shrimp. Since then, we’ve defied conventional industry wisdom, demonstrated the viability of our technology and disrupted market verticals as diverse as biopolymer formulation, nutritional sciences and consumer seafood.

 

Our name is a combination of the Latin words for renew (iterum) and earth (terra), which speaks to the heart of our broader mission: to make a significant impact on both our global food supply and our local communities.
